Tiraz Grading System
Within the Mamluk Academy, there exists a specific grading system for archers, which is done through a system of insignias called "Tiraz." In Mamluk history, warriors were recognized by the Tiraz they wore on their arms, which contained information about themselves and their units. There are four distinct classes in our grading system, and each class has five different colored Tiraz.
Each Tiraz reflects a student's dedication to Mamluk tradition and archery skills. Every student at the Mamluk Academy diligently works to earn their Tiraz, carrying the pride of being part of the Mamluk tradition.
